D

A half-breed spawn of vampire and human, the man known only as D is feared and despised for his mixed lineage. Unlike most dhampirs, D is able to pass as a normal human, though he is rarely accepted by them. Possessed of unearthly skill and great resourcefulness, D's natural strengths make him an ideal Vampire Hunter. While it's clear he feels for the humans he defends from the forces of darkness, D is emotionally remote, incapable of true closeness to anyone.
Will D be able to successfully escort his traveling party through "The Desert of No Return" to the town of Barnabas, despite the sudden turn of events?

Tae

Tae is an 18 year old girl who was kidnapped by a Noble named Marquis Venessiger at the age of 10. She spent 8 years as a prisoner of Castle Gradinia, totally segregated from the outside world. Although having been freed from imprisonment, she seems hopeless. What is causing her inner turmoil? What is she keeping secret?

Granny Viper

Granny Viper aka "The People Finder" specializes in finding children who have been spirited away. She rescued Tae from captivity and is determined to delivering her safe across the desert so she can claim her reward. During their journey, she gives a lecture on the pain and suffering endured by dhampirs but soon afterwards, she hastily tells everyone to ignore such an old woman's hysterical ranting. Why does she know so much about dhampirs?

Bingo Bullow

Bingo, the older brother and leader of the notorious Bullow Brother hunters, is a man of few words who is separated from the traveling party early on in their journey but suddenly reappears out of the blue later on. Everything about Bingo is a mystery, from his combat style to face, which is cloaked by a heavy beard and iconic top hat. What are his true intentions?

Clay Bullow

Clay, the younger brother, is quite the character with his cocky and boisterous attitude. However, during dire times, he proves to be a man of honor. His weapon of choice is rather peculiar for it is a harp which he plundered from a Noble's music room. Its strings of silver deliver a breathtaking tune but as a side-arm, it packs a rather hefty punch. Another fun fact, contrary to his rough exterior, Clay possesses the most beautiful singing voice.

Lance

Lance is a farmer, who was a part of the Northern Frontier farming expedition set out to conduct experiments on a new strain of seeds that would grow even in the harshest of environments. However, as soon as the group arrived at the desert, everybody else but Lance was brutally murdered by immortal bandits. Since then, he has been wandering the desert for 5 years, searching for a way to escape. Did he happen to run into D's party by accident or is it part of a whole master plan?
