D

A half-breed spawn of vampire and human, the man known only as D is feared and despised for his mixed lineage. Unlike most dhampirs, D is able to pass as a normal human, though he is rarely accepted by them. Possessed of unearthly skill and great resourcefulness, D’s natural strengths make him an ideal Vampire Hunter. While it’s clear he feels for the humans he defends from the forces of darkness, D is emotionally remote, incapable of true closeness to anyone.

Lori

Lori doesn\'t \"speak\" much in this story, as she\'s rendered incapable of speech in the early part of it. That being said, there\'s isn\'t much available to distinguish her manner of speech, but she\'s a determined young girl, if a bit overwhelmed by everything happening around her.

Pluto VIII

Pluto VIII is a brash rogue, and he always has a hidden agenda. He speaks roughly, but charmingly at the same time. There\'s much duality to his character, as he seems both self-serving and considerate of others.

Ming

Ming is an idealist, but also a man who\'s willing to let the ends justify the means. He hides a lot of info during this story, only revealing his involvement in the issues at hand when forced to. He\'s straightforward with his speech, and even if he is debatably insane, he displays considerable wisdom in his old age.

Dr. Tsurugi

Tsurugi is a very properly spoken character. He respects D, even if he seems to want to challenge his authority at the start of the story. He\'s very much an idealist, and is young enough not to be jaded.

Hutton

Hutton is the rough and ready sort, and perhaps relies more on his brawn than his brain. He speaks rather condescendingly to most around him, but he learns quickly that D is a rival to be feared.
