D

A half-breed spawn of vampire and human, the man known only as D is feared and despised for his mixed lineage. Unlike most dhampirs, D is able to pass as a normal human, though he is rarely accepted by them. Possessed of unearthly skill and great resourcefulness, D\'s natural strengths make him an ideal Vampire Hunter. While it\'s clear he feels for the humans he defends from the forces of darkness, D is emotionally remote, incapable of true closeness to anyone.

Doris Lang

The beautiful daughter of a Werewolf Hunter, Doris operates a farm on the outskirts of Ransylva with her younger brother, Dan. Chosen by Count Lee as his latest bride, Doris hires D to help her, and finds herself drawn to the enigmatic Vampire Hunter.

Dan Lang

Doris’ talkative eight year-old brother is very protective of his sister, and would go to any lengths to defend her. Lacking a father-figure, Dan takes an immediate liking to D.

Count Magnus Lee

Over 10,000 years old, Count Magnus Lee has existed since the nuclear war that destroyed civilization. One of the most powerful vampires alive, Count Lee breaks the monotonous nature of his immortality by taking a human bride every 100 years or so.

Larmica

The daughter of Count Magnus Lee, Larmica holds great pride in her lineage as one of the Nobility. She is a vampire elitist, disapproving her father’s practice of taking mere humans as brides.

D\'s Left Hand

A symbiotic entity, who appears as a shriveled, old face inside D’s left palm. Besides serving as a wise-cracking counterbalance to D’s cold personality, Left Hand possesses an array of mysterious powers to aid his host.

Garou

Werewolf agent of Count Lee and servant of his daughter, Larmica.

Greco

The spoiled son of Ransylva’s mayor, Greco lusts after Doris and uses his influence and resources to try and win her affections. He’s willing to employ any treacherous means at his disposal to get what he wants.

Dr. Sam Ferringo

The town’s resident doctor, Sam Ferringo was a mentor to Doris’ late father, and has always taken an interest in the Lang siblings.

Sheriff Luke Dalton

A no-nonsense lawman, Dalton senses D’s true nature and instinctively trusts the Vampire Hunter.

Mayor Rohman

The distinguished Mayor of Ransylva, who grossly indulges his good-for-nothing son, Greco.

The Midwich Medusas

Three-headed snake sisters who live beneath Count Lee’s castle, the Medusas manipulate and feed off the raw desire of their victims.

The Frontier Defense Force

A highly-trained unit dispatched by the Capital to police the entire Frontier, the FDF are equipped with enough heavy firepower to battle all manner of creatures.

Rei-Ginsei

Leader of Fiend Corps, who possesses the power to alter space, allowing him to displace objects and even redirect attacks against him. Wields the boomerang-like “shrike-blades” with deadly accuracy. Rei-Ginsei serves Count Lee in the hope that one day he will be made a vampire.

Golem the Tortureless

A bald-headed, bronze-muscled giant, with skin so hard no weapon can penetrate it.

Gimlet

Capable of moving at speeds of 300 MPH, this mutant assassin can appear to be in multiple places at once.

Chullah

Controls a swarm of poisonous spiders, released from a hump on his back.

The Old Witch

An ancient sorceress, capable of summoning powerful supernatural forces to do her evil bidding.
